The Educational Quality Improvement Program (EQIP) was an initiative developed and sponsored by the Association of Program Directors in Surgery (APDS) to support continuous quality improvement in general surgery residency education through structured, confidential data collection and benchmarking.

APDS has formally concluded its sponsorship of EQIP. As a result, EQIP is no longer an active program and is not enrolling new participants, collecting additional data, or producing updated analyses or reports.
